As you’ve probably seen, most of my articles so far have been about the poker mindset, the psychology of poker, coaching advice and bankroll management. I´m going to start to implement some Heads up no limit holdem strategy as well. When playing online poker, especially HU, there are certain things that can boost your winrate without much variance.

Open up your eyes to what is possible

The following video is partly entertainment, but I also want to open your eyes to what is possible. Now don´t think this is the “standard” way things go. But as you will see me reasoning and arguing over time, “the main job is to GET THERE”. The main job is to enable yourself to get those opportunities. You will watch the video and think “ok Nate, you haven´t done anything special there” . If you´ve realized this, my work is accomplished. That’s all that I wanted to tell you today. HOW to get there is for another day, another story.

I am working on a system to teach YOU how to do this as well. And no, this is not going to be a get rich quick scheme. I can´t help myself, but to tell you over and over again, that this is the wrong site, if you´re looking for that.

Things don´t always go well, what to do then?

You need a plan. You need to know in advance how much money you are willing to invest. If this goes bad, the guy sucks out, you need to be able to loose 20,000 or even 30,000 USD. This is actually something most people can´t do, without risking their bankroll and leaving solid poker bankroll management on the side.
